Is Martingale Illegal Standing Vs. Running Martingale?

Standing vs. running martingale? - is martingale illegal

I'm looking for horses for sale and I found one that is exactly what I want. My plan is to hunter, jumper, EQ, dressage, eventing, whatever you decide, what in the heart. Going in a standing martingale. And I read standing martingales are illegal in bridges and versatility. So I can a running martingale on him instead of standing martingale?

Is this a Knabstrupper? Yay! anyway ....

It is not the same effect, he would be able to make a difference.

A martingale is running on the reins, and guides the reins at the start (the pressure) on the bit. A standing martingale is directly connected to the noseband of the bridle and is litterally just a stop on the head.

A large number of horses have run, a standing martingale or even wanted to be a problem, the only rider "a standing martingale. Personally, I am strictly against Standing Martingale. They dress the problems will be solved with more training, and even new themes.

Running Martingale is good, and in jumping and cross country at a cut-off for safety reasons is not used. (if the pilot goes well, they help keep the reins in the head coming horses).

If I were you, I would ask that horse owners why they started with a martingale with one foot on the first. Is this a problem (eg, cattle, sometimes) that you keep your eyes open or Mayr you sure have a coach.

Good luck.

Well, I prevent operational martingale martingale both for the horse with his head too high. However, they are different. You're right about the illegal position martingale bridges and versatility. Because they give a horse a lot of freedom. If violating the journey on horseback in a standing martingale, which are more suitable, but a horse in a running martingale, the journey can be restored easily after a jump, if the driver slips from the front, allowing full use of the reins of head and neck. In the classes of the bridge and jump full competition are more likely when you travel. You do not want the riders and horses get hurt so just allow running martingale, which can recover the horse from the trip. You could use a martingale works, but are different for the horse. If the horse needs a martingale would then use a running martingale. But for the few minutes you are in the ring, the horse can be the same without him. That's what I do. We just martingale my horse if I do nott. And it does.
I totally agree with Meagan K. Running martingales are not designed to hold the initiative of giving into the heads of the horses. This is the subject of a martingale Ireland. Running Martingale horse shall hold his head high. In addition, there is nothing wrong with standing martingale. I have a use, because my horse is hard to keep his head high and not so sensitive to the performance of martingales. Standing martingales are working well.
Here is a website with all information about the different types of martingales and their purposes.

I tell you something else. If your horse needs a martingale, because some, not only use a running martingale. It is a little different, but there is nothing wrong. I hope that helped. Fun list and knock 'em dead!

You can use a running martingale, but work as a continuous martingale.

I miss you so much Rhonda said...
